Jean Paul Baenziger earned his Masters degree in Business
Administration from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. For 20
years he held numerous executive positions with one of the world's
leading and largest consumer products companies. He lived and worked
in South America, western and eastern Europe and the US and accumulated
extensive experience in international trade and marketing. Mr. Baenziger
has also been involved in the hospitality industry as an owner and
operator and currently advises international clients on real estate
investments. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish and resides
in Miami, Florida.
Fred Koenig enjoyed a career at IBM which lasted over 30
years during which time he held numerous management positions in
domestic and international sales and marketing. While living in
the United Kingdom, Mr. Koenig was the executive responsible for
IBM's activities with the General Motors Corporation in Europe,
the Middle East and Africa. His experiences cover a wide range of
industries and application areas, including manufacturing, finance,
systems integration, consulting services and business development.
Upon his retirement from IBM, he was engaged by Accenture as an
independent consultant to their partners throughout Latin America
. In addition he served as Director of Development for the Alzheimer's
Association. Fred is a graduate of Michigan State University, performed
graduate studies at the University of Detroit and now resides in
Vero Beach, Florida.
Gary Last, P. Eng., is a graduate Chemical Engineer with
40 years of experience in the petroleum and mining industries in
numerous countries worldwide. This experience was balanced between
major oil company employment, independent company management and
entrepreneurial activities in petroleum consulting and in the acquisition
and divestiture of oil, natural gas and mining properties. Financings
of such projects with debt and with public or private equity were
a large part of Gary's work. Mr. Last is presently active in international
investment banking projects and natural resources consulting and
resides in Toronto, Canada.
Roy MacKeen is an internationally known and accredited expert
in the marine industry. He continues to be actively involved with
ship design and construction, computer managed maintenance systems,
drydocking, global shipping practices, route/vessel planning, and
consulting on charter, registration and regulation issues. His business
background includes being president of shipyard companies, chairman
of government agencies and the founder of an international marine
industry consulting firm specializing in representing the interests
of ship owners. Mr. MacKeen is a member of the Society of Naval
Architects and Marine Engineers, the American Society of Naval Engineers,
A.B.Y.C. and collaborates with all the global marine agencies such
as IMO and the Classification Societies. He resides in Boca Raton,
Florida.
Joan Prevalnig is Vice-President in the head office of a
large insurance company with responsibilities for their 30 offices
across Canada including staffing, sales compensation, contracts,
human resources, government regulations and technology implementation.
During her career she earned many professional designations including
the CLU, CH.F.C., CFP and becoming a Fellow in the Life Office Management
Association. Ms. Prevalnig has served as Chair of the Standing Audit
Committee for the Canada Pension Plan Advisory Board reporting directly
to a government Cabinet Minister. She is included in the current
edition of Who's Who in Canadian Business. Joan resides in Winnipeg,
Canada.
